SYNOPSIS

BOOK REVIEW

The Blue Witch is a fun read, especially for middle schoolers. In some way, I was hoping The Blue Witch was going to be a little like Harry Potter but not even close. Abigail, a 9-year-old witch who isn't magical. While attending witch school she befriends a local boy who is being bullied really bad.
According to author information, this is a prequel to another series set in the world.

The book deals with friendship, bullies, and to decide who you want to be.

The Blue Witch as an adult I found the not much character depth and it was a pretty simple story with not that many twists and turns. Don't get me wrong It was a fun read. Middle schoolers would have a blast reading this book. It is a quick read and the illustration are really cute and fun. I would recommend this book.
