BOOK REVIEW "I Spy a Tiger" is such a cute fun book for children. The book explores some of the animals in creation. Clyde San Juan brought the beauty of faith and how Adam named the animals.  The illustrations are adorable and memorable. There are lots of interactive aspects of  "I Spy a Tiger" and there are questions back and forth on the pages. For example, the first 2-page spread of each 4-page section starts with questions like, "I went into a c

Book Review on Rachelle Dekker's book Nine

ABOUT THE BOOK Zoe Johnson spent most of her life living in the shadows, never drawing attention to herself, never investing in people or places. But when a wide-eyed, bedraggled teenager with no memory walks into the diner where Zoe works, everything changes. Now, against her better judgment, Zoe who has been trying to outrun her own painful memories of the past, finds herself attempting to help a girl who doesn't seem to have any past at all. The girl knows only one thing: She must reach a woman in Corpus Christi, Texas, hundreds of miles away, before the government agents who are searching for her catch up to them.  MY BOOK REVIEW "Nine" by Rachelle Dekker is a sequel to "The Girl Behind the Red Rope". A mystery girl, Lucy, is running away from a group of m

ABOUT THE BOOK: "Drew Me to Your Side” is book #4 in Marguerite Martin Gray’s Revolutionary Faith Series. This can be a stand-alone book, but I recommend reading the first three books. The book takes place in Charles Town, South Carolina in 1776 during the Revolutionary War. The colonies and Britain are still at war in 1776. The main character who is focused in the book is Louis and Elizabeth Lestarjette’s family. We see how they deal with the turbulent times all while starting a family. Author Gray created well-rounded characters who are relatable. I could tell she really did her research because I felt like I was reading non-fiction of the lives of the Lestarjette’s family but it isn’t.  I loved reading parts of historical documents about the start of our country. The dialogue between the characters sounded authentic. You can see how much Louis and Elizabeth support each other and love each other. There is a family element to the story. There wasn’t much war action. It amaz
