ABOUT THE BOOK Joy by Audrey Kai Yoon - Audrey wrote Joy for her 6th grade English class assignment when she was 11 years old. She was inspired by a short film about a paper airplane she saw at summer camp. This is where the idea and image of the yellow balloon emerged. When asked if the story is about her dad, Audrey says no. It’s not about any one person. The story is about finding balance and paying attention to the opportunities for joy , opportunities that float right by us all the time. Devastating News About Oliver the Kitten

Image
I would be lying if I said I am doing well. On September 6th I had to take Oliver back to the vet again He was doing so well and was thinking he might not even have  Feline Infectious Peritonitis  (FIP.)  His blood work didn't look very bad when I took him on August 29th. His WBC was low and his proteins were elevated, but for a FIP kitty, he looked very well.  My vet, Dr. Burns, couldn't see him, but they were able to fit me into another vet's schedule. Oliver hasn't lost any weight. He actually gained a pound. He is now 6.9 pounds. I thought maybe he was having fluid retaining in his belly because he seemed a little hard like when Jakie had cancer and it filled up in his belly. Dr. Miller listened to his breathing. He said there is fluid sounds on his lungs, but his stomach and intestines sound and feel fine. He decided we should do an x-ray.  I was totally fine with that.  Oliver did an amazing job.  Fifteen minutes later and Dr. Miller came back into the room

Yes, they can rebuild it and try to make it look like it did but it won't be the same.  The Cathedral was built between 1163 and 1345 by Pope Alexander the III and was completed in the 13th century.  We lost 856 years of historical energy, labor and all the years of DNA/fingerprints.  The towers may have seemed like they were twins but they were not. The towers were as high as 226 feet and it had 387 steps.  It contained one of the oldest surviving wood-timber frames in Paris. Underneath the cathedral is another city. It is Gallo-Roman city known as Lutetia. Around 1710 pieces of the sculpted altar dedicated to Jupiter were discovered.  In 1431, Henry VI of England was made King of France inside the Notre-Dame.  During the French Revolution, 28 statues of biblical kings in the cathedral were removed by a mob. In 1977, the heads of 21 of the
