BOOK REVIEW If you love suspense and thriller books then this book is for you. It's about a group of elite seniors in high school who get tainted by death. It is then taken to a few years in the future with a new group of seniors that are in the same spotlight as the last group of students.  Lanya and her boyfriend Max are constantly fighting off her old boyfriend because he is stalking her. Then they found themselves dealing with a death. They think it was suicide but they learn it wasn't. Now they have to figure out what is going on.  Jinxed  has so many twists and turns. I read the whole book in one sitting because I wanted to know what happened. Thommy Hutson does an amazing job at making the characters relatable. He also did an amazing job at making the conflicts seem realistic. At times they are a little graphic, but murders are graphic. I loved how he put his characters and situations at a Performing Arts Academy. I could s

Family Blessing Series by Stephanie Dees Book Reviews

Family Blessing Series  Book 1: The Dad Next Door The Dad Next Door is the first book in the Family Blessing series. I fell in love with this series from the first five pages. It isn't your typical romance series. It is filled with realistic characters and situations.  It is a story about life and love.  Claire meets Joe Sheehan when she arrives at a mansion she inherited.  Joe, who is off due to an injury at work, has a twelve-year-old daughter who falls in love with Claire and her cats.  While Joe is healing him and his daughter helps Claire out with fixing the house. This heartwarming story takes you on their journey of love and life. It is full of twists and turns.  I could not put this book down. This series would make an amazing show on Hallmark or the Up Christian network.  The best part is even though this is a Christian romance novel it isn't preachy. Stephanie Dees does an amazing job of showing what a true Christian is without being preachy.   Purchase

Trixie the Kitten Goes Under the Knife

My five-year-old cat got spayed yesterday. The process was very interesting.  I was debating on saving money and taking her to C-Snip because they only charged $45 and I believe that included a microchip.  My regular vet charges $125 + $21 for the microchip.  I decided to take her to my vet because if they see anything else wrong they can take care of it right there. They also were going to check her teeth, trim her nails. I was under the assumption they were going to do blood work too, but that was an added charge.  Another reason why I decided to take her to my vet to have the surgery is because I was worried that people lied about having their cats checked for FeLv, shots and if they are getting strays in they might have respiratory infections. I wanted to try to prevent my baby from catching anything. I dropped her off at 8:30am. Signed paperwork and handed her off to the nurse. I called them around 12:00pm to see how she is doing. They said she hasn't had surgery yet and
