ABOUT THE BOOK Short Stories, Non-fiction Date Published: October 8, 2019 “Gualicho takes a bite out of the ornithopod’s back as it runs away from her, causing it to stumble and fall. Fate of the Watchman by Chad Pettit Book Review

Image
BOOK REVIEW Fate of the Watchman is a tale about Luster's life.  He only thinks about himself.  We are taken on his journey of experiencing violence, homelessness, and persecution. All of this leads him to God.  This book reminds a lot like Its a Wonderful Life and   A Christmas Carol .  The beginning was a tad on the slow side and I really wish they gave more character depth, but it did have a great cliffhanger.  Very inspiring and even at time suspenseful. I would recommend this short story series and can't wait to read the next book by Chad Pettit. ABOUT THE BOOK Lester Sharp is a workaholic, obsessed with the success of his business and oblivious to the world around him. Secrets by Beckie Lindsey Book Review

Image
MY BOOK REVIEW Beckie Lindsey's book Secrets takes on four high school students, Mackenzie, Sadie, Tammy, and Krystal. It shows the struggles teens go through. For example, depression, sexual drama, and even suicide. We see the girls go  through spiritual warfare.  Lindsey does an amazing job intertwining all four of these girls experiences together. Her writing was descriptive, vivid and emotional. I could relate a little to these girls. The struggle with demons is real. This is not only a great book for teens but adults could relate and find the book to be interesting. I know I had a hard time putting it down.  It was so interesting reading about the battles of demons and angels. I could see this being made into a movie. I can't wait to read book #2.   I would give this book 5 out of 5 stars.  Purchase book: Click Here  ABOUT THE BOOK Author: Beckie Lindsey Genre: Young Adult Release Date: February 2018 Every girl has a secret she hopes the light will never find-
