My weekend kind of starts on Thursday thats because I don't have classes on Thursday and Friday. This weekend I spent Thursday and Friday filming for Entertainment For All Network's Youtube channel, a.k.a. my channel. We filmed a gluten-free peanut butter brownie can't wait to get up for you guys because it tastes amazing and it was really easy.
Anyways, on Thursday, we took a break for lunch and went Anna's House restaurant in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It has a fun environment. You step into the restaurant and you go back into the 1950s. They have a couple of TVs on the wall playing the old 1950s classic television shows like Bewitch and I Dream of Jeanie.  There is a wall with a variety of old toasters hanging on the wall.

Screen Shot 2015-09-13 at 12.40.39 AMI had a gluten-free Cranberry Turkey Panini sandwich with homemade potato chips. This was so good. It had thick turkey breast, swiss cheese, baby spinach, brown mustard and an amazing cranberry mayo that I ended up asking for extra on the side and ate it without anything it was so yummy.  I added tomato slices to it because I feel a sandwich with turkey meat is naked without tomatoes. The sandwich was $9.00 and then $2.00 added for a GF bread.
Screen Shot 2015-09-12 at 11.46.57 PM   For dessert, I got a slice of GF Pumpkin Pie. The pumpkin pie was fluffy and wasn't too sweet but not sweet enough. It has been a long time since I had a good pumpkin pie, sorry mom. Before I was gluten-free we would always get Costco pumpkin pies because they were cheap and tasted excellent, but then I had to be gluten free so my mom made the pumpkin pies now. They are good but not there not a fluffy pumpkin pie. Instead they are  very rich and thick.  Anna's House pumpkin pie is that fluffy pumpkin.  It wasn't a bad price. It was $5.00 and it was a good size piece.
Screen Shot 2015-09-12 at 12.37.00 AM This isn't the first time I have eaten at Anna's before. Usually I get the Gluten-Free First Class Olive Burger with homemade crunchy fries. Their burger is a 60oz all beef patty.  The burger comes with their homemade olive mayo, lettuce, tomato and cheese on a tasty moist gluten-free bun. It comes with homemade potato chips but if you want fries it is $2.00 more. Price is $8.50 + $2.00 for GF Bun + $2.00 for fries= $12.50. This seems like a lot for a burger and fries but you get a lot and it is so yummy and you don't have to worry about if its gluten-free or not.
It is important to make note that Anna’s House goal is to provide all-natural, fresh, local, quality ingredients in every dish they serve. They also have  dairy-free, vegetarian options as well. All their meats are all-natural, chemical-free. They make their items which are always fresh.
Screen Shot 2015-09-12 at 11.46.05 PMI love getting their candied pecan & banana french toast. It has mascarpone cheese, candied pecans, grilled bananas, and topped with a house made caramel sauce with a choice of meat for $10.75.
I have been dying to try the Chocolate Waffle. So if you are in West Michigan I would highly recommend going to Anna's House Restaurant.
