MY BOOK REVIEW
"On A Summer Tide" is the first book in the Three Sisters Island series. Camden Grayson is worried about her father after he buys an island off from the coast of Maine after his wife passed away. He met his wife on this island at a summer camp. His three daughters don't want their father selling their family home. Family supports each other, so the girls arrive on the island to find the camp in a disaster stage. The family works together to renovate the camp.
Not only do the three sisters have to deal with helping their father, but they have their own personal problems.  Cam's boss wants her in England to do her job. Maddie, a therapist, who is very negative due to all of her worrying. Then there is Blaine. Blaine has been going to college forever.  Suzanne Woods Fisher does a great job of writing family conflicts. The sisters are not getting along. Will they be able to get along to help their dad or will this camp split the family up forever?
"On A Summer Tide" is a realistic family. There is love, forgiveness, sadness, and happiness. I am an only child. Reading this book made me wish I had a sister. I felt like I have met these characters in person because Fisher does a great job of making these characters relatable, believable and loveable.
Each chapter is written from each of the sisters' perspectives, but more of the pages is on Cam. We see a romance story from Cam.   "On A Summer Tide" would make a great Hallmark series. This book is a great beach read.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from CelebrateLit through Netgalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
