ABOUT THE BOOK

Serena is the mermaid princess of an underwater palace called Dylana, where she is loved by all the mer-people and sea creatures within the kingdom. One day, while exploring the bottom of the mystical ocean, Serena finds a dazzling, but mysterious crystal of two mer-people who look like they are in love! Join Serena on her adventure to learn more about the figures in this unexpected treasure.

MY BOOK REVIEW

Love to search for hidden treasures from Sunken ships. Found a mer-people dancing on the box. Serena takes it to her jeweler to make it into a necklace but is surprised what hse finds out about it. You will have to read the book because I don't want to give away the story. "Even though something may seem unimportant and to you, at first that doesn't mean its not important to someone else." Never assume something is unimportant and who knows you might wind up with a new treasure that can change your life too. 

Beautiful pictures. Good story. Easy to follow and a good message. I still can't figure out how a musical jewelry box can be played under the water, but I guess that is called imagination. I highly recommend putting this in your children's' library.

Taylor Lukens is a wife, mother, and college graduate, who loves mermaids and reading. An avid book lover. She decided to write Serena's Tales to combine her passions. Though she has lived in five states, she has called the North Pole, Alaska home for the last decade. When she's not writing or working towards more schooling, she is spending time with her family, which includes her husband and children. But she is a kid at heart, so she also may be daydreaming about mermaids!
