MY BOOK REVIEW

"Sword of Forgiveness" is a page-turner.  I could not put it down. It is full of danger, turbulent romance, and inspirational messages.  It has elements of suspense and mystery. The book is taken place during the medieval time period (1399) in Cumberland, England.  We are transported into Lady Brithwin's life. After her father passed away she didn't want to be ruled under a man again. Unfortunately, the king is forcing her to marry Royce, Lord of Rosen Craig, who she has never met before.  Royce finds out his family was murdered. Did Lady Brithwin dor it or someone else in her castle?  We see these two not trusting each other. The book is not your typical medieval romance. It is full of deeply moving, gritty and trust in God.

The characters are flawed, but relatable in some aspects. Forgiveness and Trust is the main theme the story talks about. Brithwin is a strong woman who has dealt with so much. Royce also has dealt with a lot in his past. He carries so many burdens.

Debbie Lynne Castello had so many twists and turns. I can tell she did her research because you feel like you are reading a biography. You are taken into the culture and life of this era.  I look forward to reading more of her books.
